Book presentation “Paros – Antiparos – Despotiko, from Prehistory to Modern Times”, Yannos Kourayos
Espace Périple, a meeting point for the Greek Arts and Letters in Brussels, is hosting the presentation of the book “Paros – Antiparos – Despotiko, from Prehistory to Modern Times” written by archaeologist Yannos Kourayos.
With this unique guide at hand, visitors to Paros, Greece, will discover the island’s archaeological and historical treasures as well as its great cultural identity through the comprehensive descriptions crafted by Yannos Kourayos. The texts are featured both in Greek and in English, and are supplemented with 260 exquisite full colour photographs of Paros monuments.
The event was co-organized together with the non-profit organization “Friends of Paros”. The book will be presented by the writer, and will be introduced by Georges Vlandas, president of the “Friends of Paros” organization, and Mairina Matthaiopoulou, creative director of the edition.
